"They need to mature" - Pochettino bl@st three(3) Chelsea stars as fans disagree with outbursts

Despite spending around £1bn on new players over the last 18 months, and around £400m during the summer 2023 transfer window alone, Chelsea have been truly woeful at the start of the 2023/24 Premier League season. The Blues have now lost four of their six Premier League games thus far this campaign, with this latest loss coming at the hands of Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea had been playing relatively well against Villa on Sunday, until 20-year-old wing-back Malo Gusto for a reckless challenge on the byeline. 15 minutes after going down to ten-men, Chelsea conceded the winning goal to Ollie Watkins. Gusto is one of a number of young players the new Blues owners have made a point of signing in recent seasons, with Todd Boehly and co. building the youngest squad in the league - the average age of the squad is 23.7 years. Belle Silva has taken to social media to show her dismay at what she has just seen from Chelsea. She took to Twitter to state that the process taking place at Stamford Bridge is far tougher to watch than she expected. Her husband, Thiago Silva, did little to deny what was yet another loss for Chelsea, this time at the hands of Aston Villa. Ollie Watkins’ second half strike was enough to sink the Blues, who found themselves defeated in a manner that is becoming all too familiar at Stamford Bridge. Mauricio Pochettino was left fuming again after the side rued a whole host of missed chances before falling behind, although he can’t have been happy with what had happened moments earlier. Malo Gusto, who had been a perfectly strong replacement for Reece James up to now, was sent off for a bad challenge on Lucas Digne early in the second half.
